Large tree blocking river about 5km into lough dan section.Easily spotted if you have your eyes open and easily portaged from large eddy immediatly before tree on river left.

we didnt have a saw but broke a boat sized hole in the branches hard river left if needs be.

Wasn't on this section myself but was told of a blockage on this section. Rapair works are being carried out on one of the rail bridges towards the end of the river. Seemingly they have constructed a working platform on the river bed and have machinery on the river bed. Section has to be portaged, not an easy portage by all accounts.
