presenting......"THE WORLD IS OUR PLAYGROUND" When: 6th December 2008 Where: Above Outdoor Evolution (Jenny Kilbride's shop) in Blessington. What: There is going to be talks and videos on adventure sports. This is a gathering of some of the top people in their fields. Talks on adventure kayaking, adventure racing, mountain biking..to name just a few! Who: Some of the speakers will include.. Dave Carroll – Extreme adventure kayaker. Jenny Kilbride - International Freestyle competitor, Cross country mountain bike competitor and superwoman. Nick Doran & Benny Cullen – working as a tag team and talking about the Oil to Water dvd, which won numerous awards….these guys have clocked up many miles kayaking and having lots of fun. Colin Wong - all round expert and star of many dvds. Brian Keogh – adventure racer extraordinaire. Niall Davis - national and international mountain biker Other speakers to be confirmed This night is to raise money for the ISPCC (Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children)… Admission is free and there will be a raffle and other fun and games during the night. A good way to raise money for a very worthy cause and meet up with your fellow adventurers. John 'Dilly Dally' Nally
no worries on the boat..it was actually a joint donation by me and brian and kipper from Total Experience...winning the boatercross was enough for us especially when we beat those big green banana boat thingies...they could nearly touch the finish from the start line... and we managed to beat all the all lads teams (go on the girls!!!)

yes indeed, we enjoyed the evening. it felt like an expedition in its own right!
i think it is a good venue for future talks, perhaps along the style of the river rat lectures in the uk.
Thanks to John and all others involved, great night and glad ye were able to raise so much money for a good cause :-)
