Looking to learn how to work an oar raft for an upcoming trip... does anyone have one for a loan or to rent? Anyone have any information on where I might get one? Looking to try it out some weekend between now and Christmas on the Grand Canyons of the Boyne.

Jim.

You better get training Jim, pushing an oar boat is very, very hard work. How long is the Grand Canyon again?

No idea Rob, other than 14 days on the water. The Cork boys are running the show, so I think I'll be just kicking back and drinking some beers.

The Cork boys are hoping Jim will be able to push a raft using his superhero Mellow Powers.

No need, we will be bringing a compact TrisTen 10hp outboard with us. On the flat sections, we will just haul the kayaks onto the rafts, tie the rafts in a line and let our trusty TrisTen pull us along.

I think Ronan from UL had a raft early in the summer. A few of them went down the Deel Co. Limerick in it.
