ICU AGM & TDU AGM - Change of Venue!
ICU AGM: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the venue for the Irish Canoe Union's 2007 AGM has been changed to the Green Isle Hotel, Nass Road, Dublin.
The time of the meeting is unchanged and will take place on Saturday, October 18th, 2008 at 3:00 pm. The meeting will be preceeded by the ICU Training & Dvelopment's AGM which will start at 11:00 am. View all AGM Documents here.
TDU AGM
The venue for the ICU Training & Development Unit's AGM has been changed and it will now take place in the Green Isle Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin on Saturday 18th October, 2008 starting at 11:00 am. Click here for updates on the AGM timetable, motions, and nominations.
Canoe Achievement AwardsThe awards will be presented at the ICU AGM at the Green Isle Hotel on October 18th. This marks the second year of sponsorship from Great Outdoors and Eoin Rheinisch is favourite for Paddler of the Year - The Salmon Leap Trophy. ICU President Eamon Devoy says that "these awards are a step forward for us and by marking todays achievements we enable tomorrows achievements to happen." I'd like to add my support for attending the ICU AGM tomorrow.
If you're involved in paddlesports in Ireland at any level its in your interest to attend this.
I can't make the Sluice session before hand but I'll be at the AGM.

As you probably know the ICU AGM is on tomorrow. You should go.
Here’s why, last year there was one motion proposed, the year before thatthere were no motions. This year things are very different. This year there are 20+ motions. Lots of these motions have wide ranging implications for the ICU.
The ICU is packed with potential, and it can surpass our expectations if it has an involved membership.
Make the effort tomorrow, bring your mates, and I’ll see ye there.All the best,
