HELP PLEASE Very sad story :(
This is not a forum for posting about lost dogs I know but this is a very sad story, please, read this and pass it on to all paddlers who will be on the Boyne over the next few days.
We were getting out of the river at slane bridge on sat the 4th of Oct and were approached by a guy who was looking for his dog, he had been out for a couple of days looking for him and was very upsethe mentioned that his daughter died three years ago and it seemed there was a very emotional attachement to this dog. We said we would put the word out so please if you can email this to anyone who may be on the boyne near slane so they can keep an eye out for the dog. The dog is a liver and white Springer Spaniel (Thats brown and white as far as i can google) and answers to CoCo.
The guys name is Chris and you can call him on 046 9024299 if have seen or do see it.
PLEASE if you can pass it roun and keep an eye out the guy would obviously very much appreciate it.
