ya can do them in ireland, James Van der Brook does them, and alot of courses have a drop out and/or dont get totally filled, keep an eye on the Uni message boards.
Rescue and emergency care 3 is aimed at people who get into a first aid situation outside, where emergency care isnt immediately available.
Dates: Sunday 2nd Nov., Sat 8th Nov. and Sunday 9th Nov.

On a personal note, I did my first REC course with Paul about 6 years ago. Paul has loads of hands on first aid experience, he has worked as a paramedic and a fire-fighter for a number of years. This experience adds to the course and gives it a huge amount of depth.
