playboats are just uncomfortable.....you'll get used to having numb legs. try not jamming yourself in so tight. you can be tight into it without being crippled.

A decent warm-up of the lower part of your body and some stretches will probably allow you to be comfortable in the boat for longer..

Maybe try sitting into similarly sized people's boats and check out the shape and position of their padding, see what works well and what doesn't. Be careful of over-outfitting though - always make sure that you can swim from the boat if needs be, especially if the boat is used to run rivers too.

get happy feet for the front of your boat you can just let the air out of them when you get the pins and needles, and then blow them up when you want to play. With you hip pads try moving them up more so they arent pinching your thy d

Ive used the happy feet for about one and a half years now and  they don't make a difference whether you have them tight or lose. I've been told plenty of things to stop me getting numb legs and feet as it happens to me after just five minutes in a kayak but nothing seems to have worked yet. I guess its just a fact of play-boating.

Although i did find this: (but haven't been able to experiment because i don't have my own kayak yet.)

Crotch should be against the crotch block, no space between it and your crotch.

How do you know if you are sitting too far back?  Your outer thigh will hit the

sides of the seat pan and cut off circulation in you leg causing your legs to hurt or fall asleep.

I found it on the Jackson site under "How to outfit your Jackson kayak"
If that's any help.
