I take it that its a fibreglass boat?

They are not too difficult to do yourself. Simply a matter of going to a decent ships chandlers and buying marine epoxy/polyester depending on your layup and some fibreglass which is handy enough to get too. There is plenty of sites to explain the procedure of sanding out the damaged material and replacing it. Its not a hard process the difficulty is time and patience! THere is a guy in the north does repairs  far cheaper than 120 euro if youre ever up belfast direction.

I'd be almost 100% that its a plastic boat, to be honest if it's on the hull of your boat I would not be looking for who is the cheapest to fix it, because of where the "ding" is look for who is the best to fix it. I know Kipper & Senior Downey are well skilled in the auld plastic welding.( Jim Keohe might be worth a shout either, socut around the board and you'' find contact details for him) Get one of them to do it rather than have so "have a go hero" do it on the cheap. Cos if you go down the cheap route there is a large possiblity the your next post will be Who can fix a tear in my hull?

It's you own choice in the end but I know what way I'd be leaning towards....
