Grab your party pants because Saturday 30th August sees the back to college kayak party in Easkey.
Bring along your tent, trangia, guitar and surf boat for the weekend and be ready for plenty of banter and bucky.
There's a gang heading from Galway, Limerick and a number of Dublin colleges and hopefully a few more too. We're gona camp in the field beside the castle for the weekend for one last get together to get everyone in gear for fresher recruitment.

Anyone have any weather predictions for the weekend? Or is it the usual Irish trip with everything packed from wellies and snowcoats to bikinis and surf shorts? Looking at magic seaweed, surf is brilliant for today and Tuesday but is due to be flatish for the weekend http://magicseaweed.com/Strandhill-Surf-Report/51/ ,hopefully it'll pick up though! Any rain forecast for some rivers??

Can't really rely on MSW for anything more than a day or two. If you check it now for enniscrone it looks betterday that yesterdays prediction was for the weekend.
metcheck is the same for rain - looks to me like it's a playboat job though.
A few of us from DUKC are planning on going, should be a classy weekend.
I'm a little stuck for transport at the moment, could take public transport but then bringing a boat would be difficult and I'd like to get some surfing done. So I tought I'd ask if anyone was driving to Easky from Dublin and had a spare seat going?? Petrol money/beer can be sorted out.
