Event will be followed by the IrishFreesatyle AGM to be held in the SPA Hotel.

Hi Philippe,
There is no minimum standard required to partake in the Sluice Fun Event. It aimed at anyone and everyone who wants to have a day out padddling and have a bit of a laugh.
A whitewater roll would be helpful for the event, but its not essential.
So you are more than welcome to enter the event.

Hey there,
If there is anyone coming along to the Sluice on Saturday for the Fun Event and is not planning on paddling would you be interested in volunteering your services to help out the running of the event.
Duties would involve
- blowing a whistle
- doing a bit of judging/ scribing
- doing a bit of time keeping
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just let any of the organisors know you would like to help out on the morning of the event.

hi my names philippe from galway iv just become a member and i was wondering whether or not to go to the agm and sluice comp.Im only 14 but is there a standerd you have to be to enter??And im not that bad
