A little car trouble this evening...
Jim's a good man to have in a situation like this. He fixed the puncture quicker than we had changed and started to put the boats up. A dab hand at the old car mechanics if a little over qualified. I've never had a single puncture on my car at home but have had one on every kayaking trip I've been on and rented a car (see Ottawa, Canada worlds 2007 blog). Its a bit suspect if you ask me, I'd say they have special wheels put on their cars that self puncture after a random amount of time. This is then charged for by the rental company back to the driver unless they've paid the extra insurance to cover the excess. We learned that lesson last year the hard way out in Canada. Let this be a lesson to all you kayakers who rent cars to transport your boats. If a handi rack is involved take the extra insurance!

louis lets not forget the other little puncture you had in lyon aswel while in a rental car and on a kayaking trip....... good job bru.
I just got of the phone with gäel, the lad who im travelling with tomorrow, and he said we will be leaving tomorrow evening and will probably arrive there monday afternoon-evening..... I think i sudda tried to sort another means of getting there as i will now be arriving quite late...
