The eddy is getting fuller and fuller as more an more teams descend on Ourense for some pre-competition practice on the wave.
I've been getting some people asking me to describe what the wave is like and what sort of moves are people throwing. My answer was that its smaller than big Gower at perfect level. As you can see from the photo there's about 20 feet of wave but the foam pile is biggest closest to the eddy line. There's also a shoulder on the very far right which seems to be able to generate slightly more power for blunts but most people are surfing the wave nearest to the eddyline where the foam pile is biggest.
Moves being thrown include blunts and variations thereof. I have seen people attempting loops but I have yet to see one retained. Getting air seems difficult at best.
