Hi

Having recently popped my shoulder (boo!) Im trying to source a good physio for after I get my sling off. Does anyone have experience for a good Physio, preferably in the dublin area. Im looking for someone that knows about kayaking and that will adapt my therapy to getting back to paddling.

Cheers

Physio's name Maureen Mullen. Don't be put off by the spa theraphy aura. Maureen has been a physio to the Nicks and LA Lakers basketball teams for years before moving to Ireland, as well as international rugby teams, running stars and soccer players. She has years of experience with neck, back and shoulder injuries. Incredibily nice woman too.

I went to Mark McCabe, he's really good. I didnt go for a shoulder, but he focuses purely on sporting injuries, for people looking to get back into sport fast. He'll push you really hard.

Best of luck getting back into it.

I played rugby and cricket in college getting enough people to play was hard we had a team for the school but only for rugby, im surprised its not as popular as football since there aren't any pads and people hit just as hard. I just got some ICC World Twenty20 tickets i cant wait to see those teams play.

I have just read about your unfortunate event and I just want to say one thing: please do not skip on your drug treatment. Many people are reluctant to taking calcium on a constant daily basis, but this will help you heal a lot faster. Get well soon!!!
