ty warp

Rite,

I bought a ty warp beam 10 bent shaft ther a month or two ago from i-canoe....everything was goin great but it always felt a bit flimsy i was always worried about it breaking and stuff....i was paddlin on saturday and went to brace as you do and next thing i know im upside down i go to roll and noticed a small problem the bloody paddle snapped in half.....i found one half but not the other......did anyone have this problem tooo and if so any advice on what to do like gettin my money back....

I'd say contact Colm directy in i-canoe, number on website. I'm sure he will do right by you.

 

As for ty wrap paddles.....DIRT.

 Where you bought them seems to be the appropriate place to return not here.

Ditto on the TYwarp, Buy cheap pay twice

I've heard this about the beam bent-shaft paddles before, they seem pretty flimsy. On the other hand, my straigh-shaft beam 10s have seen some horrendous abuse and are still in top shape aprt from scratches. Do you really need the crank?
