Hey Conor,
I hope your enjoying your boredom and internet surfing.
Well spotted on the Variety score sheet, it doesn't include all the moves. But if you chack out the rules
http://www.irishfreestyle.com/files/ecarules2006.pdf
all the moves are in this document(incl donket flip) and our score sheets at the comp will reflect all these moves.
With regards Phonix monkey vs mcnasty scoring. Well, its decided by the powers that be up there in the ECA or the ICF.
Personally, i think the moves are of similar dificulty, one looks like half of the other, but they have different techniques to execute.
with regards the pistol flip scoring, its a back pan-am in the rules - 160 points. Cant wait to see you unleash one.
Any other q's?
Later
Brian

Tie Breaker in Points Standings
If there is a tie in the points standing after the 2 events.
Example:
Paddler 1 - 4th & 12th = 60 points
Paddler 2 - 5th & 11th = 60 points
The paddler with the highest placing over both events gets ranked higher. In this case Paddler 1 gets gets the higher overall rank (highest rank is 4th)
If they are still tied use their highest placing in the heats.
Example:
Paddler 1 - Final 4th & 5th - Heat 4th & 3rd
Paddler 2 - Final 5th & 4th - Heat 2nd & 5th
Then we use their highest rank from either events' heats. In this case, both paddlers are drawn on points, final ranks, so Paddler 2 gets the higher overall rank based on highest heat ranks (highers heat rank is 2nd).
Tie Breaking in the Events
• If there is a tie for the cut off placed paddler going through to a quarter final, then all tied paddlers go through.
• If there is a tie for the cut off placed paddler going through to the semis or finals then the non counting ride counts.
• If they are still equal the highest move scored counts.
• If again they are still equal then the highest number of different moves decides the tie.
• If there is still a tie then both go through.
• If there is a tie with a score of 0, the tie will be decided based on the previous rounds scores.
Tie Breaking In The Final
• The non counting ride counts.
• If they are still equal the highest move scored counts.
• If again they are still equal then the highest number of different moves decides the tie.

Results from clifden and the overall Championship and a few pics are up

I'm after looking up the variety rule posted on the resource section http://www.irishfreestyle.com/files/euros2006varsheet.pdf and i'm just wondering somethings even though it probably won't even effect me (but i'v been sick for three days and i'm getting bored!).
First of all, theres no donkey flip or airscrew included on it. is it going to be added for the competition?
and secondly, shouldn't a phonix monkey score higher than a mcNasty, seeing as the mcnasty is only like half of a phonix monkey?
finally, will the pistol flip be scored as a mcnasty as it was at the worlds?
i realise that these probably won't effect most people but again i'm really bored!!!
Cheers
Conor
