Hi All,

I am organising a gear exchange programme. Since so many people have second hand kayaking gear gathering dust and mould in a shed, gear bag or back garden I thought it would be a good idea to collect it up and ship it to countries where kayaking gear is in short supply.

This is a non profit making scheme and any gear donated will be swapped for jewelry, paintings, trinkets etc. in the relevant country. In other words you donate say a cag and you receive some cool jewelry and trinkets in return.

The first shipment will be going to Zambia at the end of March so please please contact me by phone 086 168 4755, email jennykilbride@hotmail.com or via pm on this site if you have gear to donate. Another shipment will be going to Nepal shortly afterwards.

To those of you who have already donated gear thank you.

Come on people check those sheds. If you nobody wants to buy your second hand gear you may as well send it to somebody who will use it.

Good intentions are not enough to make a difference so get off your asses and get looking!!!!
