All Happy-2b lightweight helmets use a semi-rigid outer shell that distributes impact force across a wide area. Our shells are made out of a super tough epoxy resin and build up out of five different layers of glass and Kevlar® or carbon . We only use the best gel coats available to ensure a long-lasting shine. Our helmet liners are made of expanded polyethylene with excellent multiple impact absorbing characteristics to attenuate force directed at the head. The proper fit of a helmet plays an important role in preventing injuries. If a helmet does not have a correct fit, the head might accelerate inside the helmet during a severe blow. Roll-off can be an other consequence of bad fit. To optimize outfitting our white water helmets have a front and rear adjustable headband. The special Dual-lock® closing makes fine tuning really easy. For our retention systems we only use high quality Duraflex® dividers and buckles. All our retention systems have a unique five-point adjustment system to reach a snug fit.
