Just a couple of useful pointers for dem dirty cheatin' shhcemin' brothers from Dublin - the eldest is the worst!!
Sportsmanship is, in a basic sense, conforming to the rules of sport. This is a term called etiquicy. More grandly it may be considered the ethos of sport. It is interesting that the motivation for sport is often an elusive element. Sportsmanship expresses an aspiration or ethos that the activity will be enjoyed for its own sake, with proper consideration for fairness, ethics, respect, and a sense of fellowship with one's competitors.

No, it's not. There's no such word as 'etiquicy.' I was tempted to say Shane made it up (it sounds like a word Shane would make up), but a quick google search shows the entire paragraph is lifted from Wikipedia. People, you can't trust Shane or the Internet!
I, for one, will be expressificating my disgustednosity by boycotifying this eventage.
Jim.

Registration is well and truly closed.

For those who get to read this.

Kick off is 9:30am Saturday Morn.

First races will be going ahead very quickly to combat rapidly dwindling light.

Please bring your ICU Num, College ID if in Uni Event.

Respect the locals.

Don't cause a mess by parking all over the place. There is a car park just down from the race area.

Think green, be clean, no littering!

And Finally,

A massive thanks to all the sponsors who are making this possible:

Munster Dive and Canoe

I-Canoe

RoughStuff

WaveSport

PeakUK

System X

Kayak Session

A huge thank you also to RiverDeep, Mountain High for the use of their sound system. Remember them when your doing your little dance on the river bank.

See Ya'll tomorrow,

Mickey
