Waterford Institute of Technology Kayak Club are heading on they're first trip abroad ever!

We will be heading out to the Alps on June 11th. Hopefully all the snow won't have melted by then. We will be based at the campsite in L'argentiere. So if anyone is around do come find us. We hope to keep this blog updated with all the antics over there, as we are sure there will be some with UCCCC, Glasgow University Canoe Club and many more Irish and English Clubs there at around the same time.

So until then..... stay tuned.

It seems despite the worries of global warming and questions about snow fall and low water levels this hasnt effected happenings in the Alps. There will be a few different events to look forward to this year..

Secondly St. Clement Kayaking Festival

So it shaping up to be a good session out there. Also in pase years theres always been a film night at Canoe Controls Campsite, does anyone know if that is happening again this year?
