Wet West Whitewater Weekend10-11 November 2007, Galway Ireland.
featuring the annual Clifden Rodeo and the first ever Boluisce Boatercross.
Will have more details re boatercross format closer to the date but as of now the rodeo will be a variety only event but a number of fun moves will be on the scoresheet . Theres going to be Juniors,Sport and expert classes, an Inflatable Race and a Freestyle Sprint.

It is not possible to enter both junior and mens sport classes as both classes will be running very close together.
Unless you are able to be at two places on the river at once, which would be handy.

Things are hotting up only 10 days until w4g kicks off.
All times for saturday confirmed. registration 1-2pm Clifden station house hotel
Inflatable class will begin at 3pm at Hole.
Some final details re boatercross on Sunday.The event check –in is 9am sharp at “Sean Cave” Car park behind the school. The turn is beside the church. All competitors must check in.
Competitor briefing is at 9.30am
All competitors will be shuttled to race start so everyone needs to be ready from 10am.
We need to keep to time schedule due to the release so no exceptions!
There is no team event at the boatercross. Individual heats.There will be finals in some classes and this course is shorter than qualifiers.
No wave hoppers or glass racing boats allowed!
The Prize giving is at An Caladh Mor Spiddal at 3.30pm

The Weekend will kick off with the Freestyle Sprint on Saturday at the Clifden Saltlake. Competitors will race from one flag to another flag and first to the finish will be the winner.
Next up will be the Cuba Inflatable Class. there are 2 categories Best inflatable. This will be awarded to the competitor with the most amusing and crazy inflatable . Then the event will have the inflatable Race and first inflatable to the finish will win. Cash prizes have been confirmed for this event.
The Big Finale for Saturday will be the Munster Dive and Canoe Clifden Rodeo.
The rules are variety only and the variety sheet will be available on the day. we have incorporated a number of fun moves to the scoresheet and promise to bring back OLDSCHOOL.
Saturday night will be in Galway City with action at Cuba Bar 903 and after upstairs to Cuba nightclub for some dancing.
Sunday we are pleased to introduce the Irish Canoe Outfitters Boluisce Boatercross. We are also pleased to say that we have guaranteed a release for this event so the event is confirmed!
