Preliminary Notice of the 46th IRISH CANOE UNION ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Saturday, May 12th, 2007 Finnstown House, Lucan, Co. Dublin
The Annual Delegate Meeting of the Irish Canoe Union will take place on Saturday, May 12th in Finnstown House Hotel, Lucan, Co. Dublin starting at 3:00 pm Clubs registered with the Irish Canoe Union within the 12 months preceeding the date of an annual general meeting are eligible to attend and vote at that annual general meeting.
Clubs should try to ensure that at least one club representative, eligible to vote, attends the May 12th meeting. Individual Members registered with the Irish Canoe Union within the 12 months preceeding the date of an annual general meeting are eligible to attend and vote, as part of a voting bloc, at that annual general meeting.
There are 3 positions (President and two members) due for election to the ICU Executive at this year's AGM. Nominations for consideration at the May 12th meeting must be submitted in writing, signed by a club's chairperson and secretary, and received at the Canoe Union Office no later than April 23rd, 2007. Motions for consideration at the AGM can only be submitted by clubs registered with the Union within the 12 months preceeding the date of an annual general meeting.
