Just thought I'd let everyone know the latest news from Spain where I've heard our crew are doing us proud! Edel Quinn placed first in her heat in hp (shortboat) class. This means she is going through to the next round!

Also through the next round of the IC competition (long boat) is Jackie Ferguson. She placed 2nd in her heat, with Devon Barker just pipping her to finish 1st!

In the mens Rob McCay put in a blinder and topped his heat in the IC comp putting him through aswell! I don't believe the Juniors have competed yet so best of luck to them!

Apparently the conditions were less than perfect with small but clean waves but the word from the camp is that they are hoping for better conditions in the coming days. Tomorrow the team events begin so hopefully the team can come up with some more solid performances. Go n-eiri an t-adh leo!
